If you have your stock pads/rotors that you took off the car to install your track stuff, just throw them in the trunk in case you end up needing them. I'm going to be running Project Mu Club Racers front and rear, the guys on the west coast seem to really like these pads, and my NS400 pads on the front of the car feel great so far. Todd had no fade with EBC Yellow Stuff pads until his last session, but I think those aren't totally up to the track task on these cars. Carbotech XP10/8 are popular pads (Terry thinks they are sh*t). I know Hawk HP+ would be a good pad for starters, Ian had good luck with his when he first started tracking. Pads: Ask 10 people and you are probably going to get 20 different answers. ![]() ![]() ![]() Centric and Brembo rotors are popular.įluid: Any good high temp fluid, usually DOT4. Don't get cross drilled rotors or anything like that, they are a waste. But I've been around the scene for a while, and have done my novice-level homework. Is there a favorite pad/rotor/fluid combo that everyone runs? or any suggestions? How much of each to bring for the 2 days? Thanks. So I'm just going to go off of what I know from talking with others, I don't have much track experience in the S, just autocross.
